Flooding defense

If you're an FPSer, you've probably been flooded before. You know how it goes, you're puting the beat down on some lamer and he gets upset and floods you. Lots of people like that out there, so is there anything i can do to prevent or stop the flood? Seems like i'm kind of defenseless to it, i've got a linksys router and Zone Alarm, but i don't think they can stop it. If you're not an FPSer you probably don't know what i'm talking about :p

ummm floods are old school. Like waaay before quake. We know what you're talking about. It's the OOBs you gotta worry about...

Setup filtering on the ISP connection. On their end.

Well, it's something similiar to flooding anyways.

I don't know how to setup ISP filtering...and how am i suppose to do it on their end?
