"Floating point error: stack fault. Abnormal program termination" error

😕

I recently wiped out my hard drives using "fdisk". I created primary dos partitions on both the C and D hard drives. I then formatted them as follows: "format c: /s" and "format d:". Then when I try to use my recovery disk from hp I am able to recover the first disk by just pressing recovery, but when I am told to stick in the 2nd disk and press ok I get "Floating point error: stack fault. Abnormal program termination".

I also get this error if I tell the computer to format and recover while using the first disk.

Any suggestions on what the problem might be. It successfully booted up both recovery cd's two weeks ago when I wiped out my hard drives then.

Thanks
Dave
