floating language bar... grrrr

How do I get rif of this stupid floating language bar. I am running Me with office XP. I close the bar and it comes right back up. Someone please save my sanity:|

there should be a preferences setting with the language bar...i had it on 2k on my dad's comp...i just simply right clicked on the language bar...went to settings or preferences...don't quite remember and then unchecked the box that said show language bar...hope i'm talking about the same thing as you are....hope this helps...
