For boxy and quirky, I'd go for the Element.

From real life experiences with the xB, it just doesn't do anything for me... the 2.4 would be an improvement as I see the xB as a city car, and its weak engine isn't torquey enough to do well in stop 'n' go driving

Maybe the Aztek failed because its designers tried too hard to make it look cool. Scion throws the xB's ugliness in your face to the point that you think they made it look ugly on purpose

See, that's what I don't get...

The xB isn't fun to drive. It's not fun in traffic, it's not fun over hills, it's not fun around corners, and I can only guess that it's not fun offroad.

Basically, it's only fun to be seen in.

That xB looks like a refrigerator on wheels. Park it in your garage and fill it up with beer. You'd be doing all a favor by making the world less ugly.
 
see, the xB is so ugly it is cool. Plus it is not that expensive. The aztek is just plain ugly. Who will want to spend ? $20K on that thing when there are so many options out there. GM just doesn't get it. I hope they lose the #1 spot and then maybe they will start being serious
