I thought it was ok. Sean Bean shoulda been teh bad guy though instead of that sleepy headed dude. Definitely not terrible.

Some of the problems I had with the movie **SPOILER ALERT***

1. How can the people on the plane be so unobservant, that they didn't notice Jodie Foster with the kid?
2. How did the flight manifest get manipulated? I highly doubt the air marshall or a stewardess would have access to it.
3. How did the air marshall grab the girl, reach up into the compartment, take the girl's bag, and take the girl down to the holds without ANYONE noticing?
4. Why did it take so long for other people to enter the plane after jodie foster and her daughter boarded? Usually people will file in together without any long pauses like that.

Too many holes in the plot.

...and what about that middle eastern guy she was absolutely sure of that was standing outside her house? they gave a passing glance of him during the ending, but apparently they just let it slide.

The kid is small, and she spent a lot of time snuggled up in mom's jacket. Implausible but not impossible.

2. How did the flight manifest get manipulated? I highly doubt the air marshall or a stewardess would have access to it.

The same way the coffin got a bomb in it - conspiracy of a number of people.

3. How did the air marshall grab the girl, reach up into the compartment, take the girl's bag, and take the girl down to the holds without ANYONE noticing?

He drugged her + mom, then came back later and stuffed her, and her bag, into the side of the drinks cart. He actually says that during the movie.

4. Why did it take so long for other people to enter the plane after jodie foster and her daughter boarded? Usually people will file in together without any long pauses like that.

No clue on that one.

Too many holes in the plot.

Sort of, I would more say the criticism was it was the most overly elaborate and doomed to failure evil plan of the year. It was not, however, the stupidest evil plan of the year - that award goes to zorro and the great soap plot.

She was one of the people working on creating the plane. So i'm guessing she got some kind of special treatment from the airline.

A friend of mine went to see it and he calling it a "Steaming Pile". Therefore I steered clear.
