Flight Sim

Okay, so I've been getting into the urge to play a fighter game again. Right now, after playing Ace Combat 5 for the PS2, I want to play a simple, easy fighter sim, maybe not so much realism. So I don't want to look for something like Falcon 4.0. Are there any easy flight sims for the PC out there?

Combat Flight Sim II was always fun. You can make it as real as you want.


I bought CFS III as well - but II was definatley better.


You can also pick up IL2 (google it) for a dime now

Janes USAF .. also Lock On Modern Air Combat.. both kinda old, but I used to like playing those games. Its a lot easier with a joystick than with mouse and keyboard...u do have a joystick dont u?

Yeah, I do... but I thought Lock On was ultra-realistic.

So was Jane's... it was fun, but a bit complicated. Is there a simpler flying game? I mean, I don't want to study a flight manual to play it.

lol.. dont know how much simpler u want it.. Yea i kinda agree LOMAC was kinda too realistic, but not Jane's USAF..
sry i cant provide any more suggestions since those are the only two combat flight sims i ever played besides Air Warrior II (which is realllyyy old) I heard IL2 was pretty good, might want to give it a try.

nope.. i just played Jane's USAF and LOMAC..that was it , before I moved to Ghost Recon and Rainbow Six, which are the last games i ever bought.
