flight delays suck

So i'm sitting here in the Long Beach airport waiting for a "slight mechanical failure" to be repaired on our airplane right now :thumbsdown:. The only good thing about this is the wireless interenet in the wait area. :thumbsup:


UPDATE #1: Just found out it's now a major mechanical failure, minimum 3 hour delay. a mechanical crew is coming from LAX to fix the problem. Looks like I'll be here surfing ATOT for another 3 hours. DAMN YOU ALASKAN AIRLINES :thumbsdown::|

Update #2: They came on the intercom about 25 minutes ago and said the part had arrived and they were installing it/testing it and it would take about an hour. Hopefully We'll be boarding at 5:30pm.
 
yeah, i like places with free wireless (like richmond international), in NY laguardia you have to pay, i guess too many people with wireless.

flying out of Phoenix in August...wonder if I'll have some surfing priviledges...4 hours lay over there...

No, I'm flying out of long beach to Seattle today and flying back from seattle to long beach this Friday.
 
Alaskan? dude, they're the one with that plane that had failed rear rudder and the plane took a dive into the pacific. I flew with them once, the entire UNV football team on board after losing to some school in washington state.

I didn't really need to know about a plane taking a dive in the pacific ocean.
 
don't worry about it, at least they caught something. besides, if a plane is taking a dive, i'd rather have it dive into the ocean instead of, sierra nevada.

I don't think it would make much of a difference 😉 I knew I should have brought a DVD or 2 to watch on my laptop
