for the love of god can someone tell me how to use this godforsaken thing for sharing albums?

uploaded a bunch of albums but they're in an unorganised mess - not the albums i uploaded.

wipe account (couldn' see a delete all) start again

now try using their flicker beta software. a few gigs in and realise i have throw the albums into a collage (WTF) and these all turn out to be private. no easy option to change that.

delete account, start again.

all i want is to put an album up and have albums within in. why the hell is that so hard to grasp

You -> organize -> Add to album

You get all your pictures in the photo stream, then have to sort them afterwards.

Not very user friendly IMHO, and the reason I only use it when I need to share photos publicly. Sharing with friends and family I use OneDrive.

agreed about the not very user friendly. i've wiped the account and started from scratch at least 3 times now.

god why culdn't it be like picasa (before google took a dump on it)

Same here, it is so confusing! If I want to share pictures with friends/strangers I use Dropbox link.

FLICKR tends to disgrace Photo sharing to other URLS - I've found that if you choose You/Photostream /Clk on a Photo then OK for that stupid PopUp/Download this Photo - "View All Sizes" then choose the size you want - RtClk "Copy Image Location" (FF) onto your Mouse a Paste the JPG URL into Note Pad for storage or into a Down Loader (NetVampire) or an Image Box in a Forum - WORKS.

If you want to share PIC's from an Online PIC Storage Site such as FLICKR, finding the TRUE URL Image Location is what SHARING is all about and PIC Storage Sites do their best to hide sharing from you unless you UpGrade with Money - Get my DRIFT ;o)

By the way you can create numerous FREE accounts with FLICKR containing approx 50 Photo's with what ever resolution you care to UpLoad.

I'm some what pitude and should not have leaked this info. Anand Tech Insist you log on. So how how do I do it?

Neither of then PIC's are mine - I just copied them On line, liked them and passed them on through FLICKR.

tried flickr again and it's retarded. images are visible as images but not as albums. eventually get some albums showing but only some of those as collections are visible to others.

as i bitched here

flickr is retarded. the odd photo, fine. just throw every thing and anything in a big old mess - fine. i want some kind of order.

guess i'm back to paying google.

Yep, been doing it that way since flickr started. I can't stand their stinken share interface, never did.
