Try a higher refresh rate, such as 85Hz or even 100Hz? Some people are able to to detect flickering even at 75Hz, it appears you're one of them.

Well, then, it looks like you've kind of run into a dead end then. Either you can reduce your resolution in order to run at a higher refresh rate, or get a new monitor that supports higher refresh rates.

this is fairly common issue that i have seen resolved by repalcing the powersupply with a higher quality one. no promises there, but i figured i should point it out as an option.

Some cheap 15" flat panel monitor. I just wanna make sure that it isn't the card's problem because if is I am going to have to return it.

Eh ... try setting it to 60 hz or whatever the recommended refresh is. You cant treat it like a traditional CRT. Its not like LCD's are supposed to flicker ...

You mean LCD aren't suppose to flicker? I mean I have now eliminate some possibilties and here are the left overs.

At 75 and 1024x768 16 bits is fine 32 bit will flicker

Anything lower won't flicker, its weird supposingly higher refresh rate eliminates flickering.

I really don't like how 70 1024x768 32bits look but look like thats my only option.

Anyone help me how to elinminate this problem since there are so many options in the Radeon 9500 Pro control panel.

I always thought that LCD flat panels were supposed to run at ~60hz. Try using powerstrip and running the monitor at 70hz. Make sure that you aren\'t running your monitor beyond spec!

Thats why its cheap it didn't even come with warranty or user guide. Brandless and not even a site about it. All I know is that over 1024x768 it goes out of signal so obviosly I can't go that far and over 75 hertz it goes out of signal so again. hmm. Another thing there is no problem at all when running demos or games a 75hertz. Amazing just desktop and regular web broswing i get this crap.
