Flickering w/ 9800 Pro

I just bought a new 9800 Pro built by ATI. I'm running duel monitors and have never overclocked it. When I open the advanced display settings, the monitor running off the dvi connctor flickers. I know this doesn't have to do w/ the connector b/c it didn't happen w/ my 8500. I'm guessing this isn't common and I plan on returning my vid card but I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions b/f I did.

It only flickers when going into "advanced settings" right? If so that's perfectly normal - it's just detecting the monitor again (it happens with dual display on many cards).
