Flickering? Issue with Asus 280x

I have tried Furmark, and no issues there with anything during the 15 minute burn in..

I also get random artifacts that look like qrcodes or static on random parts of the screen during certain games like BF4 and the Valley Benchmark. I also get flickering textures. I'm using the 13.12 (latest "stable" Drivers.)

Any and all advice would be great!

Are you using MSI afterburner?

No,I have the Catalyst control center of course, the card was installed and installed drivers and software, changed default gpu in bios to pci express, and tried out some benchmarks and games.

Random artifacts can be eliminated by increasing the core clock on afterburner, but i don't recommend you to do this.... RMA the card in case of artifacts.

I also posted this on Reddit, and got the same response to rma the card. I will start the process. What gets me though is that I've had a couple experiences where nothing happened out of the ordinary.

My card flickered as well w/ the newest drivers. Roll back to Cats 13.11 -- fixed my issue.

Update bios w/ GPU-Tweak as well.

Tiger will not exchange because of payment method (v.me) only refund. The price has jacked up over $100.. calling asus

Tried with 13.11 9.5 drivers and all was well, but battlefield 4 crashed... no artifacts on Valley benchmark, trying 3d Mark
...
Thought I was in the clear. The fight scene showed a lot of random shapes and qr code looking boxes like before.

Well... i called Asus to get exchange, and told me to contact Tigerdirect to get it... I paid via v.me so Tigerdirect only does refunds and not exchanges. Since the price of the card has jumped over $100 since I ordered (ordered during their v.me special and just received it) I'm stuck!
