Does anybody know a good flex-atx board for a mini-barebone system?! And what price it is... or can tell me their expericences with barebone systems?

I've looked everywhere (but maybe not good enough ;))

It must have a barebone with:

Slot A (for Athlon/XP)
2x DDR slot
min. 2 PCI slots
2 ide interfaces
Sound onboard
AGP slot'

I want to put in it:

AMD Athlon XP 1800+
120gig HDD
Lite-on burner
512mb DDR
GeForce 4 TI

Anybody some XPerience with cooling such small cases?

Sorry, but that thing is mATX, flexATX never has 3 PCI slots, most I've seen is 2, and that's without an AGP either.

If it was me, I'd try to see if I could get the board out of the shuttle ss51 (as per review up on main AT page right now).

I wish someone would come out with an 845 based FlexATX board. I think stability is real important in most small form factor pc's, but it seems like SIS chipsets rule in that market due to the low price and high integration built right into the south bridge. I'm sure once you work out the kinks in the SIS boards they are fine and stable, but I prefer to just plug it in and let it work.

It would be nice if you could get the shuttle PSU and even better heatpipe setup without the case too. That's such a sweet little cooling solution.

But will they fit into a mini case? If they fit in it, it's no problem! I just care about the format of the case..... (very easy to carry for i.e. LANparties )

Does it need to be an AMD? if not I'd recomend an ASUS CUSI-fx (2 pci slots and agp) plus an intel would handle the cramped case better with the heat.

If it has to be AMD, then please disregard my post.
