i think it would be pretty cool (i was in the navy) to see all the ships

I was there a few years back as a civilian. I got to tour the USS John F Kennedy, which is HUGE. There were also some Russian ships there (we had just started making nice with the Ruskies at the time). There boats were rather spartan and the sailors all looked like underfed teenagers.

Funny thing was the Russian Navy guys selling everything/anything to get some money to go play in New York. Pins, medals, ammo, gun turrets, underwear...

hehe, that would be cool, i would buy some junk just to hook them up
