So, I took a sharp turn too off the highway on the way to work with a new route in the morning on an 08 mazda3(leased). My driver side wheel hit nicked hte really low curb and it popped. I had to get a tow that told me not to take it to the dealer. I had my doubts about what he was saying at first, but I ended up believing him. I ended up having to call insurance because the wheel and suspension are damaged. It did seem like the axle was bent slightly, so I felt like they were being honest. However, I still feel like maybe I should've taken it to the dealer and explained the wheel should have never popped so easily in the first place. I've never even had an accident before , so I really don't know. So...did I make a mistake here??
Thanks ahead of time.
