HAHA. Oh my Q niece believes in a flat earth, or did at one time. But knowing her, I'm sure she still does. :p

The proportions and perspective are off. And where is Burj Khalifa?

The other day I accidently found myself in conversation with a "flat-earther" lolololol. (SOOO stupid!)

When I pointed out that to prove the earth was in fact round all you need to do is fly on ANY aircraft and LOOK OUT THE WINDOW he was dumbfounded and looked very confused. (priceless)

I think suggesting a ride down to Brooklyn to take a peek @ the towers on the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge as an illustration nearly made his head explode.

Did you know that over half of the Chinese adult popular is now overweight? That's more people than the entire population of the United States.

I had no idea but I'm not shocked lol. o_O

I bet the % of total population overweight (and number of morbidly obese!) is far higher here though.

Just walk around in public and have a look.

Of course they put the key piece of info last...

But China has a tougher measurement than global standards. WHO considers a body mass index (BMI) – a ratio of weight to height – over 25 to be overweight, and more than 30 obese. In China, a BMI greater than 24 is considered overweight, and over 28 is obese.

BMI is such nonsense ... I'm down to 171 @ 5'9 (proud manlet!) and my BMI NOW is still 25.2 (overweight) somehow ??

Freaking stupid... this is the least I've weighed since 7th-8th grade. Much skinnier & I'll start to look unhealthy!
(put on ANY muscle and my weight will go up too!)

In fact right after I finishing a month-long Outward Bound program in Colorado (Boebert country lol) at the age of 20 (19?) and in the best physical shape of my life, I weighed in at just under 185!

I'd like to lose 20#, and I will by fall, but I'll find them again during winter.
I go through the same thing in my line of work. I always put the pounds on when times are slow in the fall and winter and then shed them like crazy when spring and summer hit.

It's not uncommon for me to gain and loose 30#'s over the course of a season. Not great for my health but it's been this way for 15 years and will be for the next 20+.

My BMI is around 20. 5'10" and ~140lbs. I've never weighed above 150lbs, and it seems impossible for me to put on weight.
