flashy monitor, need to replace?

Hi, i have a Sony 200ES 17" monitor.

this monitor has been with me for more than 5 years.

about the pass 6 months, the top left corner of the monitor began to flash. now the top rite corner.

i am not talking about the static flash. it is kinda like when ur cell phone is close enough(when ringing or talking), it will create interference.

annoying when doing paper work cuz the background is always white, make it so obvious.

want to know if it is time to replace it. ? i doubt it is my videocard driver issue. However, i am overclocking it.
