LED flashlights and flashlight mods rule. 😉

I'd want something that lasts longer than 5 hours though, although I realize it's being powered by a single AAA cell and it's a keychain flashlight. 😉
 
I have 2 of those. A "turquoise" and a white. The turquoise is actually the same color as green LED traffic lights, and it's quite bright for a little light like this.

They're awesome. They run at nearly full brightness during most of the battery's life. When it goes down, you just pop in another 40 cent AAA.

I'm going to get another white one soon, because the finish has been improved since I got mine, and it's now all worn off from being on my keychain every single day. The foam battery retainer fell off and got lost, so the battery rattles slightly when the power is off (I could get a replacement foam thingy for free under the ten year warranty, but I don't care enough to). The light itself keeps trucking after all the abuse of being carried with my keys for about 2 years now.
