I have a Chaintech VNf3-250. I wanted to flash the bios to fix the temperatures, so I went to Chaintech's site and downloaded the 2.0 bios.

I then booted my pc and held alt and f4 so I could get into AWDFlash. Then it asks me for a floppy, so I put in a floppy that was just formatted with the new bios, and then it sits there at "loading awdflash from bios".

I left it on for 15 minutes, and it hung the entire time. I am not really needing this flash, but I would like to have a sensible temperature reading.

I used Award Winflash utility Version 1.51

Here is a note that came with the winflash utility

To update your BIOS w/ WinFlash, you just need to extract all files from the winflash.zip into
a new directory; then start the .exe and enable all settings in 'Options...'.
Then do Update, it asks you for a BIN-file which you have to select.
Then just restart and select 'Load Optimized Settings' & Save BIOS.

I enabled everything but the "Clear PnP" option in the options menu, it simply wouldn't enable when i clicked on it.
