I didn't see any posts on flashing a system bios and would also like to learn how to overclock my system, can anyone help? My system is a hp pavillion 9680c and the motherboard is Apollo Pro 133A, processor is PIII 650MHz. HP dosen't support or provide upgrading my system from win98SE to windows 2000 or XP. I'm currently running windows XP Pro but having problems with the floppy drive, SiS Sandra program states BIOS is to old and needs to update or upgrade. Can't seem to find a BIOS flash utility anywhere. Any help much appreciated. Thanks m😎bleyman

When you DL and updated BIOS from HP, the flash utility is included in the file you download. It should create a bootable floppy that should pretty much operate automatically when you boot from it. If it requires user input, there will be a readme file.
. If I recall, hp had a patch for a floppy disk problem - or it was on the m$ update site - or both.
. DL the latest Hyperion 4-in-1 drivers from the viatech.com site to help get your mobo working right. As you definitely will need your floppy working right to do the BIOS flash.

To overclock your look to have to get a new mobo that hp will never do it. Hp won,t allow over clocking for warrinty issues. Sorry man
