flashing textures w/ Radeon 9700 Pro

Hello everyone. I just recently upgraded my system for primarily gaming and I am having some issues w/ my new vid card and games. For example, in Mafia I have random flashing textures. Downed bodies, shadows under cars, and some of the roads exhibit flashing. I have the 2.5 Catalysts for my vid card so I assumed that would be fine. The game doesn't have a patch either. Any ideas how to fix the problem? Any settings in the P4PE bios that would help??? Nothing is overclocked and
