Flashing screen at startup...

Help! I brought my computer home from college and now its acting crazy. I've had it for about a year and its been solid, never giving me probs.

My setup:

P3-450@558
Abit BE6
128mb Pc133 Corsair
Creative TNT2U
20gig + 30gig maxtor HDs
all the rest..

When I turn it on now, all I get are flashing horizontal and vertical lines. They're solid colored with black lines running through them. My computer seems to be booting in the background, but the lines just keep flashing. I can get my computer to boot if I fiddle with the reset button and ctr+alt+del for a while but that works only occasionally. I usually have to reboot about 10 times before it finally works. I've tried different video drivers and the newest detinator drivers. I reseated my video card, all other cards, my mem, cpu, etc. Any ideas???

it could be that your monitor is fux0red, it might have taken damage from the transport from your college and home 🙁

Nope, I checked that first. Tried a new 19 inch from my dad's comp and it still had the same problem at startup. Has anyone else seen this problem???

I have a new video card coming from Creative, but that won't be here for a week or two... I was just posting on this board to get a little help from everyone in case my new replacement didn't fix the prob.
