Newegg has the Radeon 8500 LE for like $180. It says it has a core speed of 230 mhz, but I know it is insted 250/250. The retail 8500 has speeds of 275/275. I have read about people flashing the bios of the 8500 LE to the retail BIOS and that makes the speeds retail as well (275/275) I would like to know where to get the flashing utility and the retain bios as I plan to get a 8500 LE soon. thanks

Be carefull. That is actually only a 230/230. These have just recently started showing up. Haven't seen any writeups on them yet, so it is not clear if they will have as much success being flashed / OC'd to retail levels as the 250/250 LEs.

I'd recommend looking in the Hot Deals section right now. There is currently a place selling 250/250 retail box Powercolor 8500LEs for only $129. I think its about $11-13 shipping for most people....HOT deal unless it is a mistake and they can the orders.
