Flashing my 9600 pro

I was trying to flash my 9600 pro to an xt. I downloaded all 3 of the apps that beggar king said I needed. I saved a copy of the current bio. Now when I run the flash program it brings up a dos prompt that says press any key to continue, then the prompt goes away... How am I supposed to flash it??? I have heard that radeon locked them so you can't flash them any more? If I can't flash it, then what should I overclock it to? Its hot a heat sink and fan and I opened the empty slot right underneath it for the air to get out. I don't think it will get as hot as your 800xl's or 7800's, I just don't want to fry it.

And after I do one of those what res should I set my computer to, and what res and other video settings should I set bf2 at to maximize the card?

I have a 21" Sun CRT...
