I understand that there are some Beta BIOS versions out there for this board to help with OCing. I just got my system together last night and I noticed that I can't adjust the HT at all with the BIOS version that I have (1.30). Any suggestions? I understand that I need to be able to adjust this when I OC this board. Thanks.

You can adjust it without it crashing. Just highlight it and instead of hitting Enter, just use the + and - keys to adjust the values.

Ok, got that part. Now just assuming that I wanted to flash to one of the Beta BIOS, what's the particulars on accomplishing this with this MSI board? I was trying to Flash to Ver. 1.37mod, but couldn't gert it to work using AWDflash and a floppy disk. Any ideas Thanks.

I did the 1.37mod from floppy...

Have to copy the awdflash.exe to the floppy as well as the bin file. I booted with windows 98 start up disk and then put in the floppy with the bios stuff...

At a: I typed awdflash.exe (enter)

The it ask for the bin file. Make sure since this is dos you need to use the ~ symbol since dos only see 8 characters...Then it wil ask if you want to save old file..say yes and name it like orig or something and follow the questions from there....

From now on I will flash from windows (MSI Liveupdate) since I actually don't own a floppy and haven't for years....Recommendation is only install windows OS at non oc'd setting to make sure no corruption...then only flash at defaults as well to avoid a nasty crash while flashing...It could be unrecoverable....

Dang-it, only 8 characters...that's where I was messing up. Been a while since I messed with DOS much. Thanks.
