Flashing GTS-V BIOS - How?

I have read with interest the comments on the Visiontek GTS-V card posted here. I have the card and it runs well for me. I saw a few posts that said that the cards can be flashed to the BIOS of the regular GTS card and they will run at the stock speed of the regular GTS card.

Is this the case and is it worth the effort and/or risk?

How do you flash the BIOS for a video card?
