Flashing/flickering textures on my GeForce3 Ti200

Hi.

I recently got a GeForce3 ti200 (Creative) and i get flashing/flickering textures when i run games etc. One example is the "Chameleon" Demo where the textures starts to flash and flicker most of the time (like you might get if the card was overheated, but in my case i get it when its cool aswell).

My system:
Windows: WinXP Pro
Processor: AMD Athlon T-bird 1.4ghz
Motherboard: MSI K7T Turbo MS-6330 (VIA KT133A Chipset)
Memory: 512mb SDRAM PCI133
Graph Card: Creative 3DBlaster GeForce3 Ti200 64mb (Drivers: 2.3.1.2)
Sound Card: SoundBlaster Live! Value (Drivers: 3509.2.0.0)
Powersupply: 300W (it should be powerful enough)

Ive tried everything i can think of; changing AGP Aperture values, disabling AGP4x, OC the card and even UC it to a GeForce1, disabled PCI Delay Transaction and the PCI Texture Memory Size etc. Im out of ideas and i have no clue of how to fix this.
If anyone knows how to fix this problem or if you think that something in my system is the cause then please post a reply.

Thankfull for any help i can get.

What's your monitor refresh rate set at? Did you run the Refresh Rate Fix?

Do you have the latest BIOS and chipset drivers for your system?
Have you disabled AGP fastwrites?
Any overclocks?

Are there any commercial games that this flickering occurs in or just this Chameleon demo? Any other examples of this flickering?

Hi.

First of all thank you guys for posting.

My monitor refreshrate is set to 85 and yes i have run NVRefreshrate and set everything to 85 (or as close as possible).
I have the latest BIOS for my mobo and newest drivers for everything (i think atleast...it should be), i havnt updated the BIOS for the G3 but then its brand new and im not sure there even are any updates so i could flash it. My friend has almost the exact same system as me, except his mobo is from epox and mine is from MSI, and he doesnt have any problems with his creative G3. Odd thing is that creatives G3 cards are "created", or what to say, for MSI so mine should be even more compatible.

The MSI K7T Turbo doesnt have an option for disabling AGP fastwrites but i used NVMax to disable it, no difference.
Ive tried with both the standard clock and ive OC'd it to 240/500 and even UC'd it to the same as a standard GeForce1, no difference.

As for another example of when i get the flickering, i have tried NHL 2002 and saw the same error as in "the Chameleon" demo (same problem with the "Zoltar" Demo but not the "Inferno" Demo), it doesnt flicker when you actually play but in the cutscenes like replays and the movies, like when you start a game and the players rush onto the ice and after you score etc.

Half-Life/Counter-Strike work without any problems as far as ive noticed.

Im going to try installing WinME later and see if it works there but i really prefer WinXP and if it did work with ME then i probably couldnt let go of the XP problem because i want to find out whats wrong (i cant help it, thats how i am hehe)

What can it be??

Thanks for any input you might have.

One more thing, i dont know if this has anything to do with the flickering problem i have but, when i start up my comp and XP is loading (the blackscreen with the XP logo and the loading bar, right before you actually get into XP) the screen flashes a few times, like you can see the background color of the desktop for a sec, as if it shone through. It flashes about 3 times while its loading, and that happens everytime.
Like i said i dont know if this is related but i thought id mention it just incase it would help.

Thanks
