I have a packard bell 7800 system that I would like to overclock. It has a standard ATX motherboard that is based on the 440bx chipset. There is no option to overclock in the bios and there are no jumpers on the board itself. What I was wondering is if I flashed the bios with a newer revision would ocing options be added, and if so where can I get this upgrade.
As a last resort I may upgrade to a new mobo and possibly a new cpu

ps there is plenty of cooling
Specs:
Bios is Phoenix 4.0
p2 350
64 mb ram
voodoo3 3000 agp
6.4 Gb hd
8.0 Gb hd
32x cd
4x4x32 cdrw
10mb NIC

Sorry,
Packard Bell systems are integrated systems. They go out of the way to keep all costs at a minimum. It doesn't really matter what you do your BIOS you won't get any new options.
