Flashing BIOS when board won't POST?

So I'm slapping together a new Venice-based rig, and I keep seeing the warnings that a mobo without the latest BIOS won't POST. If I build from scratch, and the mobo revision doesn't have a Rev.E-compatible BIOS yet...how do I flash the BIOS of a board that won't POST?

I belive the ONLY cases to be worried about was the ABIT and EPOX boards which have a bit more of an issue, but it has not been confirmed it wont boot.....

What mobo do you have?? MSI NEO2 boards have a new beta bios 1.62 floating around...I haven't seen the readme file but maybe it gives 100% support for it.....I noticed it allowed me to run my TCCD timings a bit tighter at same speeds.....

download the bios from the internet, put it on a floppy. my mobo has a utility you put on the floppy, that boots, and flashes the bios. there has to be something like that for your board. look in the manual.

I have been looking over most of the Venice threads this evening, and it looks like the nForce 4 boards have no problems with it, while the nForce 3 need a pretty recent bios update to recognize the Venice.
