Flashing Bios from Winflash

I recently replaced my DFI Lanparty Ultra-D with an ECS KN1 Extreme.

Whenever I try to flash my BIOS with the newest BIOS using Winflash, my system freezes up after I click 'Update'.

It just freezes. No mouse movement, nothing. I don't understand why. At first I thought my bios flash had been screwed, but my computer rebooted just fine.

So what's the deal? Anyone know what is going on? >_>

Why dont you try resetting your BIOS by taking out the CMOs battery from your motherboard.

Works fine with my floppy. Reset BIOS to default before flashing. I have KN1 Lite (almost the same board).

Your mobo knows what's going on:evil:

Word to the wise....

Flashing your bios in Windows is a good way to ruin your mobo's bios.

Better to do a DOS based flash if you can.
