Can anyone tell me if it is permitted to flash the Bios (DOS mode, using Bios Update Utility ASRFLASH.exe) at once from version 1.50 to version 2.38a, or should the Bios be flashed in steps for instance from 1.50 to 2.00, von 2.00 to 2.30 (last original Bios version), from 2.30 to 2.33f and finally from 2.33f to 2.38a
In the Bios Upgrade Instructions from another motherboard I have in use (Gigabyte GA-8SR533)
Is mentioned that in case a great difference in Bios version it is strongly advised to execute the Bios update in steps, but in the Instructions for the Asrock motherboard (downloaded from Pctrieber.net) nothing is mentioned about the safest way of flashing.
