flashing an iwill kk266

hey.. i was just trying to flash the new iwill bios, copied the stuff to a disk, restarted and hit alt-f2 to get the awardflash.. it popped up with the bios name in the box.. but then i couldn't do anything. i pressed enter, space, tried to type, nothing happened.. did i do something wrong? please help me! also, i keep on hearing about turk oc bios.. is this bios any good? what are the differences? thanks
 
I assume you have a Boot disk and is doing either a minimal boot or a safe mode command prompt boot. Otherwise u may have trouble flashing. I flashed my Kk266 to the turkoc 2.27 a week ago and its running real fast now. Sandra2001 showed somethin like 523/601.
 
basically i copied the bios and awardflash.exe to the disk
then during startup i hit alt-f2 which took me to the awardflash screen. but after that, i couldn't do anything?
 
Did you make sure that you first entered the bios and made your bios "flashable"? They have a security setting that prevents your bios from being flashed by accident or viruses.
