Flashed to new epox bios, now on-board sound doesn't work

AS the subject states. I tried to let windows do the default drivers but it says "An error occurred during the installation of this device. The data is invalid".
Anyone know what could be going on?

It's enabled in bios. That's the only thing I could think of when I encounterd the prob.
I also went to epox's website to try and get some new drivers. It says something about being down for maintenance. It figures!

Anything else?

Just tried with the same results. I guess it's not the drivers. Something just doesn't get along with them.
I really don't want to have to order a new sound card. This one has worked perfectly since day one.
Anyone else?

EDIT for spelling
