okay, i have a p5nd2-sli deluxe mobo, and you can see the oc settings in my sig pre flash... now i get nothing. i boot to windows, my bios states that i have my fsb set at 1000 and my ram (ddr2) at 667.... cpu-z reports my speed as stock of 800 fsb and my ram remains the same. anyone else have this issue or know how to fix it? i flashed from 605 to 802... any help would be appreciated.

I hate to ask it, but did you reenter the settings for your overclock after flashing the bios? When you flash a bios, it sets all your settings back to their defaults.

oh yeah, i've done that multiple times actually. no matter what i do... disabling speed step, c1e, etc.. and reseting all the settings i had before i flashed it, it refuses to work. what i don't get is how when i've changed the settings as in putting them to my overclock, and i boot to windows and see they didn't take hold, i go back to my frequency settings in bios to reset them, and they are at the overclocked settings! and even more, when i look at my chipset properties, it shows my cpu running at 4.5ghz which is my overclock... then i boot to windows, speedstep comes back on and it is sitting at stock settings. how do i flash back to older bios? i have the asus bios flash utility and it won't let me flash to earlier dated bios, is there a utility or a guide you know of to do that? any help would be greatly appreciated.

yeah... thats what i was asking, if there was another program besides the asus updater which would allow me to flash to an older bios (the one i was using previously). and idagno... yes, i flashed while oc'd... was that a problem? did i make a noob error? and now there is another issue which causes me to freez up every once in awhile. all occurring now after the flash... hmm...

Consensus is: flashing the bios while OC'd is a no-no. Try again w/o any OC. GL!
