XP Pro Sp1 is my os.
i just flashed the bios of my SOYO K7v DRAGON board. I have a radeon 8500 64mb and 256mb crucial ram. fat32 file system
I've been having problems with my compture crashing, or locking up unexpectely in the past couple of monthes since summer started. I would boot the machine up and it would lock up or i would use a prog and then it would it freeze. I figured updating/flashing the bios would be a good idea to solving my issue. I first used 98 se on the board, then in the middle of the summer then i switched to ME to see if it would solve the issue; it was more stable, at times. then in late august i switched to xp pro. the issue i thought was resolved when i did a clean install of pro, but it started to act up again.
I downloaded all the recent drivers when i did the clean install which was aroun labor day
here is the error code infor that was displayed:
Error signature
BCCode : ea BCP1 : 814EF020 BCP2 : 815D3508 BCP3 : 819687E0
BCP4 : 00000001 OSVer : 5_1_2600 SP : 1_0 Product : 256_1
and it said the following files would be included in this error report:
C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\Mini091602-02.dmp
C:\DOCUME~1\ADMINI~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\WER1.tmp.dir00\sysdata.xml
any help would be much obliged.
