Had to upgrade bios because Athlon 750 was not running at full speed. Upgrading bios fixed the cpu problem. Was getting good hard drive bencmarks in Sandra (2200) before bios upgrade. Now getting scores around 750. I have the new VIA 4n1's installed. Also when I enable DMA on hard drive and reboot, my hard drive does not show up in device manager. I have to uninstall drivers then reinstall and leave DMA off for Win98SE to reconize my HD. I reformatted thinking that would correct the problem, it did'nt. I think that the bios upgrade has caused this problem, but don't have no idea why! I have checked all my setting's in BIOS. If go back to the previos bios then my cpu is slow. There's got to be a way that I can have my system working like its suppose. Can someone please help me out? Here's my system:
