I have an ABIT KA7-100 Mobo and I just flashed the BIOS to TY. Anyway, now
when I boot up I get an error when it tries to boot up win 2000. The error
is:
A disk read error occurred
Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart
Then it just hangs there. The hard drive is connected to the first IDE
slot, and the hard drive is ok, the data is still there. The BIOS seems ok,
my hardware is detected, it's just when it starts to load the OS that the
problem occurs. Does anyone know how to fix this? Will I have to
reinstall Windows?
