flashback to music in the late 70's

thank god for a thread where it is not about 'getting alkemyst'

I learned the Cha-Cha and a few other dance steps at 7-10 yrs old. I kept them dormant until I was 17.

Fuck, shes gorgeous.

And a heck of a bass guitar player to boot, today's artists can't compare. I also loved the stuff Roberta Flack was putting out at that time, such an amazing voice, "The first time" still gives me goosebumps, both powerful and beautiful at the same time..

Keep posting sensible things that are worth discussing.

(instead of posting random / confusing things that sound like insults but no one is sure)

In addition to those mentioned, the list of musically talented groups of the late 70's wouldn't be complete without Earth Wind and Fire.

But, the Disco era was coming to a close & some really talented musicians more in the realm of rock were starting to gain a lot of fame...
AC/DC, Peter Gabriel, Police, Supertramp, Fleetwood Mac, Journey, Van Halen, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, and Rush were off to a good start by the late 70's.

Additionally, Rap was off to a rapid start with Rapper's Delight (Sugarhill Gang) in 1979.

And, let's not forget some of the (sadly) most recognizable songs from the 70's: In the Navy, and YMCA.

I challenge anyone to play this and resist undoing the two two buttons of their shirt and strutting around the office:
