Ah, so it does work both ways.

George W. Bush said, "It's totally ridiculous. ... It's not true ... and I would hope responsible journalists ... would not respond to science fiction."

Since all science is fiction to Bush, does this mean it could be true?

Still, all this probably isn't worth the outrage. They're both trying to get elected, so don't stop the presses when they try to cover up a smear book.

True, it really isn't worth getting all hot-n-bothered about. On the other hand, I ,for some reason, get great pleasure every time an example of Bush's hypocrisy is cited. :)

All books are bad, stick to O'Lielly and Hannity for real info.

Yes I remember that book very well. I believe the auther died or something.

That is one rare occasion where an anti Bush book hasnt been shown to the public a million times by the media.

But, be honest will ya.

In the recent months, about a dozen anti Bush books have come out, and how much coverage have these phony books got???? A lot more than some of the anti Kerry books that have come out.

hmmmm whose books should I read? The key administration officials (don't give me that *they're out of the loop* BS) who worked with the most powerful people in the world ...... OR..... a Fox News reporter, Veterans who have barely seen or cared about Kerry until his candidacy was announced (These folks are most definitely 'out of the loop'), or Rich folks who see Bush's management of countries as a model for businesses?

Ill bump this back to the front, to remind our rightwing friends that pressuring the publisher of books that could be considered libellous wasn't invented by the Dems...

Fortunate Son was pulled by publisher after Bush legal threats

Probably because there was nothing to it. With the Swift Boat Vets, however, they are willing to defend their position. If fact, John O'Neill dared Kerry to sue him.

That was a ploy as well. If Kerry sued him, then there would be even more coverage on these Swiftboat idiots. Can't believe that's not obvious to some people.

It certainly is obvious that Kerry is being told to PUT UP OR SHUT UP

True, dat. Not to mention the millions in legal bills and 8-10 years in the court system... O'Neill's friends can afford it, probably not the authors of "Fortunate Son"...
