Flash5 question.

Alright, who's adept enough at Flash5 to be able to answer THIS ONE! 🙂

What I want to do:
Create an interactive Flash file that when you do a mouse rollover it animates one thing, and if you mouse press on it it'll do a different animation.

What I've got so far:
A project with 3 scenes.
- Scene 1 is the button
- Scene 2 is Animation 1 (for mouse rollover)
- Scene 3 is Animation 2 (for mouse press)

My problem:
The button scene is where you assign 'On Mouse Event' Actions. I can assign 1 event ONLY though, adding a second 'On Mouse Event' makes BOTH Scene2 and Scene3 play!

Any help or clues or links would be SOOOOO VERY MUCH APPRECIATED!

I've been grappling with this issue ALL DAMNED DAY!

Thanks!

Oh, btw: What I WAS able to put together I'm quite happy with! It's a little Mr.T action! Check it out at msihardware (linked in my Sig).

Adding more than one 'On Mouse Event' in the Actions window won't segregate. It combines.

Scene1 is where interactivity is set. Stop Action on the Keyframe, then 'On Mouse Events' on the Button in the Frame. But this DAMNED EVIL THING COMBINES Scene2 and 3 if you put more than 1 mouse event in. :|

I had this same problem. It's been about a year since I worked with this though... I have found that www.flashkit.com has been an immeasurable help to me in the past. Check out their Intermediate tutorials. They have such a tutorial in there.
