Ahh, so glad that I use Chrome and do not have to worry about updating flash.

Oh wait... Steam and SlingBox Desktop Player (SlingMedia) require the IE version of it. I freaking hate it when desktop applications require a separate install of it.

Anyway, thanks for the heads up, might save me from one of Adobe's lovely security vulnerabilities that make Microsoft products look like a rock solid secure platforms.

Steam uses a WebKit browser now, are you sure it's still using the IE version of Flash?

sweet, they enabled hardware accel in mac. Now only linux remains...

Looks like they switched from Internet Explorer (Trident) to WebKit with an update to the client, ack, now I need BOTH.

Valve's Steam client, previous versions of which used Trident to render the "Store", "Update News" and "Community" sections as well as the Steam in-game browser and MOTD screens in Valve games. The Steam client was recently updated to use WebKit instead of Trident for these features.
