I'm actually a fan of the on camera flash as it's helped me taken really sharp pictures--but they are a bit harsher than I'd like.
I've googled around and it doesn't look like there's anything clear cut like the Canon 430/580 out there, is there anything equivalent for Sony Alpha cameras? Are there low priced options from Minolta?
Or would it make any sense to put a softbox over the on camera flash?
