Flash.ocx crashing IE6!!

I have an older computer and am running IE6. Flash.ocx kept crashing it, so I decided to delete the entire Macromedia directory from the Windows/System folder.

Here's the strange thing; IE just crashed again, and flash.ocx as well as the Macromedia folder was back under my Windows/System folder.

Help!!
