Flash normal 6800 into a GT?

Is this posssible flashing a 6800 into a gt?

I kind of doubt it...not all 6800's are unlockable to 16 pipes, and the memory speed is way too low anyway (not to mention that they usually have half the RAM that GT's and Ultras do...)

I was thinking you migh be able to because I flashed my 9800 pro to a 9800xt. Or Could you flash a 6800 with 256mb to a 6800gt

Even if you could they wouldn't perform the same.

6800nu/le = DDR1 RAM

6800gt/Ultra = DDR3 RAM

Possible with a 256mb version AGP8x 6800NU. Not possible with the PCI-e 6800U because he physically only has 12 pipes.

I think the unlocked pipes have a high probability of being defective as well.
