Flash install popup

[Doomer]

Two questions.

1. How do I prevent this annoying popup from popping up ? I do not have flash installed and I will never install it period, end of discussion.

2. Why is it that this info is so hard to find ? Searches turn up nothing.

Become my hero and tell me how to kill flash in it's entirety.

Nope, this don't work. It's unchecked and I still get this popup.

I'm using IE 6 Latest.

I'm looking for someone who knows. All the guesses I've gotten so far don't work. I'll be asking again and again until I get the correct answer.

Do flashing banner ads not bother most people ??????

I've seen this same question asked many times elsewhere but I've never seen it answered. 🙁

Well, by not providing your browser (which you finally did), you'll never get a useful answer. There is no reason to keep asking either. Bump old threads, or else you'll get the same (apparently useless) recommendations over and over by different people.

edit: Just wondering, why don't you want to install flash? Would you be unwilling to install it if installing it and then disabling it would get rid of the popup without making you see flash ads?
