Flash install popup

I don't do Flash.

Anybody know how to stop that stupid popup you get at some sites prompting you to install Flash ?

Thanks

1) Install Flash.
2) Stop going to sites that use Flash.
3) Disable IE's auto install (maybe, never tried this).

1. Like I said, I don't do Flash.

2. Like, how am I supposed to know which sites use Flash before I go to them.

3. Don't work.

Thanks for the useless answer. Next time please read the message before responding.

Another suggestion, use a different browser maybe. One that uses a plug-in scheme vs the auto-install? Or, set your browser for text-only mode. That should eliminate the problem. Also, you could just close it, then ignore it, when it pops up.

I guess you can't

I read your message before I responded. I didn't see mentioned anywhere that you did this. I admit I can do lots of things. Unfortunately mind-reading isn't one of them.

I did read your post. And all three options are, in fact, useful in and of themselves, though some were more sarcastic than others. I guess you can't deal with sarcasm, huh? And, as I mentioned before, my number 3 answer was not addressed in your original post.

I hope you get this resolved.
