flash crashes ie

I have an amd duron 900 on windows xp and every time i try to press a flash button in internet explorer, ie just closes up, no error message or anything. If I unistall flash and then reinstall it, it will work for one session of ie but if i close ie and restart, the same thing happens again. Any ideas? Thanks

Do you have SP1 and all your updates installed?

reinstalling IE6 should fix your problem.

also make sure your video card driver is updated. I'd do that b/f you reinstalled IE if I were you.

The video card drivers are updated and ie is up to date - I couldn't install the updates, I got an error that I already have a more recent version of ie installed.
