They are pretty much the same. Look at *bay and you can find one as cheap as $8.00 for an internal type.

Get this one. It's external, not internal, however. It can read 12 types of cards, doesn't need a power adapter, and runs on both USB 2.0 and USB 1.1. $19 shipped. Very compact. I love it, just got it a week or two ago.

Edit: Oh and it says "No driver installation required for Windows 2000 and Windows XP". I've tried plugging it into Windows XP and it recognizes it right away, no problems. Adds like four extra drives to My Computer.
