Flash ads hanging my pc...

so I disabled it using flashcontrol. But is there anyway I can view flash ads on sites w/o it freezin my pc?

Specs(old pc)
celeron 433mhz
256mb sdr

Using ie6 and yea i'hv got the latest ver of flash too..it happens with all the versions

Bump, as I also have a problem. Even after reformats I have troubles with flash causing the browser to crash as well. This happens with the latest version of flash and pretty much all browsers crash. IE6, Opera, and Firefox all get this problem.

Is the PC actually freezing up or does IE lock up because it's timing out trying to reach the ad server?
