Flash 6 and Front Page 2k

I want to make a flash splash screen for my website. I have created the flash I want to use and have exported the movie in a html (so front page 2k will be able to import it) but the movie will not play once in Front Page. Why? How do I get around this? Is there any way to embed a link to my main page in the Flash.html file? Am I having problems because this is a flash 6 html file, and for some reason Front Page does not like it? Should I try it in flash 5?

Thanks for any help

I've never used Frontpage, and am an extremely amateur flash programmer, but I think I can help. If I remember correctly, the html page that flash builds for you is just a page with your flash movie playing in it. If there's a text mode in Frontpage, you should be able to open the html file that Flash created and copy what's inside the <BODY> section anywhere you want. You might not be able to see the flash movie playing in Frontpage, but as long as the code is in there you can see it in a browser.

I hope you can pull something out of that. I'd try to explain better, but I'm on my way out the door. Good luck.

I don't know about frontpage bust most editors won't recognize flash or javascript in the editors preview window, but if you go to the external (browser) preview it will come up. Is the flash file going to be an intro?
