Flash 10.1 beta for mac, with Hardware accel

This will suck, Adobe is incapable of making Flash work well on a Mac, which is strange because I can't think of a single other program that sucks on Mac speed wise. I'll try it out but I have no doubt it will blow chunks.
 
wonder why its not working on my 260 gtx? I am using DSDT method wonder if it would work if i used strings.

my processor can handle 1080p on my macbook (2.0 dual core) but it would be nice for the internal graphics to take some of the load of the processor, specially with flash.
 
Hmm.. I thought I'd notice a decrease in CPU, but really haven't. I have a 9400m in my machine, so maybe that's partly the reason why. I might try and reinstall it later to make sure it's working correctly.
 
I installed this (I have a 320m) and there is a noticeable difference in processor usage, and flash videos are playing smoother... so its kinda nice. I'd rather just not have to have flash at all though.
 
Sucks it doesn't work with the X3100. Anyways, it says is supports the 9400M does that mean when I am using my 9600m it will use the 9400 exclusively for flash decoding?

My mid 2009 13" macbook pro is getting ~18fps after upgrade as well in Firefox.

In Chrome it was up to about 39 fps, but the fans still started spinning up something fierce. That NEVER happens on my POS Thinkpad T60.

Yeah, I have a feeling the GMA950 will never be supported also. I was able to play 1080p smoothly on my Modded 2.16Ghz C2D (new CPU) mini and saw no issues at all.

Trying it on my Q6600/7900GS hack now.

Pre-install: ~35-40 fps in chrome
Post-install: 45 fps in chrome

Sweet.

But did hardware accel work seems like you just got a bit more from the beta flash. Did you see the white box as described.
